Kathryn Crossman

Originally from Sackville, Ms. Crossman has recently returned to New Brunswick after teaching in China for seven years. She brings a wealth of experience with the IB, having taught in both the Middle Years and Diploma programs. With one of her passions being service learning, Ms. Crossman is excited to collaborate with students while they explore opportunities to serve the needs of others.

Olivia Veilleux

Operations Manager

Ms. Veilleux has a wealth of experience in office administration and working with families, making her the ideal person to to welcome guests and families to Eastgate Academy. Ms. Veilleux is currently on maternity leave.

Heidi Miller

Office Manager

Heidi Miller joins the Eastgate Community with extensive experience in office administration across sectors.  Miss. Miller has a huge love of learning, children and the arts.  Pursuing a Masters in Psychology, Miss. Miller is passionate about the experiential journey of childhood education and the lasting positive impacts and possibilities it provides. This is Miss. Miller’s first year at Eastgate Academy as the Office Manager.

Jennifer Landry

Director of Community Development B

Jennifer Landry grew up in Riverview, NB, and is a graduate of Mount Allison University. Mrs. Landry’s previous work experience lies within the field of post-secondary education in both the private and public sectors. She is experienced in both Recruitment and Community Engagement and possesses a strong passion for education. Mrs. Landry is eager and enthusiastic to share what Eastgate Academy has to offer within our Greater Moncton Community. She plans to create a positive impact on the growth of Eastgate Academy and its bright future. This is Mrs. Landry’s first year at Eastgate Academy as Director of Community Development.

Sarah Fitzpatrick

Sarah Fitzpatrick grew up in Riverview, NB and after twelve years of teaching in international IB schools she is returning home to join the team at Eastgate Academy! Ms. Fitzpatrick has worked in a variety of teaching and leadership roles in her previous schools and is excited to bring her experience to Eastgate. Sarah is always seeking to find ways to help kids uncover their potential, passions and curiosities as well as build agency within her classroom and the school.

Craig Finnie

Craig Finnie grew up in Moncton, NB and returned home to the Maritimes two years ago after seven years teaching internationally in southern China. He brings a wealth of experience with the IB, having taught in both the Primary Years and Middle Years programs. Craig has worked the previous two years in Amherst , NS. Craig is always looking for ways to collaborate with and support students in their interests.

Elizabeth Godfrey

After completing multiple long-term supply positions with the NB Anglophone South School District and teaching internationally in southern China, Miss. Godfrey is now joining the wonderful team at Eastgate Academy. She is a qualified IB teacher (PYP and MYP) with experience using the NB and BC curricula. She has previously taught French Immersion mathematics, French language acquisition, and middle and high school science courses.

Janic Barrington

Janic Barrington, originally from Ottawa, Ontario, and raised in Fort Myers, Florida, is an experienced educator and University of Ottawa alumna. With four years of teaching at the Western Quebec School Board, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her new roles as a French and Art teacher at Eastgate Academy. Eager and enthusiastic, Janic is excited to contribute to Eastgate Academy’s growth and make a positive impact on the Greater Moncton Community in her first year with the institution.
