Kathryn Crossman

Originally from Sackville, Ms. Crossman has recently returned to New Brunswick after teaching in China for seven years. She brings a wealth of experience with the IB, having taught in both the Middle Years and Diploma programs. With one of her passions being service learning, Ms. Crossman is excited to collaborate with students while they explore opportunities to serve the needs of others.

Olivia Veilleux

Office manager and receptionist

Ms. Veilleux has a wealth of experience in office administration and working with families, making her the ideal person to to welcome guests and families to Eastgate Academy

Craig Finnie

Craig Finnie grew up in Moncton, NB and returned home to the Maritimes two years ago after seven years teaching internationally in southern China. He brings a wealth of experience with the IB, having taught in both the Primary Years and Middle Years programs. Craig has worked the previous two years in Amherst , NS. Craig is always looking for ways to collaborate with and support students in their interests.

Sarah Fitzpatrick

Sarah Fitzpatrick grew up in Riverview, NB and after twelve years of teaching in international IB schools she is returning home to join the team at Eastgate Academy! Ms. Fitzpatrick has worked in a variety of teaching and leadership roles in her previous schools and is excited to bring her experience to Eastgate. Sarah is always seeking to find ways to help kids uncover their potential, passions and curiosities as well as build agency within her classroom and the school.

Elizabeth Godfrey

After completing multiple long-term supply positions with the NB Anglophone South School District and teaching internationally in southern China, Miss Godfrey is now joining the wonderful team at Eastgate Academy. She is a qualified IB teacher (PYP and MYP) with experience using the NB and BC curricula. She has previously taught French Immersion mathematics, French language acquisition, and middle and high school science courses.

Dan Pelletier

Dan grew up in Moncton in a bilingual household. He attended university in Ontario, Nova Scotia, and Finland, where he completed a bilingual degree in drama studies and a specialized education degree in fine arts education and language acquisition. He has teaching experience in the Northwest Territories and Nova Scotia. He is thrilled to be at Eastgate and impart his worldly adventures to his students. As a published playwright and retired cirque performer, his arts experiences are sure to inspire and have his learners tap into their creative potential.
